David Acereto "Barbate" , graduated in Cinematography at the SEPTIMA ARS Film School in Madrid in 1996. He began his career as Director of Photography after having shot more than forty films as a Camera Operator since 2001, the year he made his debut with the film En la ciudad sin límites by Antonio Hernández.
As a camera operator he participated in award-winning films such as No hay paz para los malvados by Enrique Urbizu (winner of six Goyas) and in International films such as, Liberator by Alberto Arvelo, Red Lights and Down a Dark hall by Rodrigo Cortés, Grand Piano by Eugenio Mira, Gold by Reema Kagti, The Kill Team by Dan Krauss, Horizon Line by Mikael Marcimain or in the second units of The Gunman by Pierre Morrell, Exodus by Ridley Scott and The Promise by Terry George.
He has been one of the cinematographers of the television series for Movistar +, El Embarcadero and of the series Sky Rojo for Netflix, both produced by Vancouver Media and Paraiso session 2 a MediaPro Studio production for Movistar +.
His most outstanding works are the international series THE HEAD, The MediaPro Studio for Hulu, HBO and Orange and FERIA, an 8 episodes series produced by Filmax for Netflix, both directed by Jorge Dorado, director with whom he is preparing his film OBJECTS.
