ABOUT ME

David Acereto "Barbate", graduated in Cinematography at the Séptima Ars Film School in Madrid in 1995. He began his career as Director of Photography after having shot more than forty films as a Camera Operator since 2001, the year he made his debut with the film En la ciudad sin límites by Antonio Hernández.​​ During this stage he combined his work as a camera operator with second units DoP in feature films and in addition to several series documentary directed by Eulogio Romero. ​It is in 2018 when he becomes one of the directors of photography in the television series THE PIER. His work stand out in Tv series as FERIA, THE HEAD, BERLÍN and films such as NO MAN'S LAND by Albert Pintó , LOST AND FOUND, by Jorge Dorado or  MARFIL and  ÉBANO directed by Oscar Pedraza. David is a member of the Spanish Association of Cinematographers (AEC) And Gold Medal from the City of Barbate "for his outstanding career in film and television. His talent and professionalism have made him a benchmark in the audiovisual sector, bringing pride to his hometown."
